Mr Korkut started his first restaurant business at the early age of 19. The restaurant’s founder, Mehmet Nezir Korkut is actively involved in every aspect of his business, striving to create a truly authentic experience for the diner.

Mr Korkut started his first restaurant business at the early age
of 19. As the front of house manager of his 250 cover business he
was actively involved in the planning of menus and managing operations. After opening an additional branch of the restaurant at 25, he left Turkey and moved to England. Following this, Mr Korkut opened the 70 cover restaurant Olive & Thyme which has been met with great acclaim, being awarded a Certificate of Excellence 2015 on Trip Advisor.
